Frequently Asked Questions
How do I declare a major or minor?
Declaring majors and minors is handled through the official Dartmouth registrar system. Once declared, your information will sync to PBS Knowledge within 24 hours.
Why don't I see all my courses?
PBS Knowledge only displays PBS department courses by default. Courses from other departments may not appear in your progress view but are tracked in the official registrar system.
How accurate is my degree progress?
The progress shown is based on your current enrollments and completed courses. For official degree audits, always consult with your academic advisor or the registrar.
Can I plan courses from other departments?
Yes! The planning tool includes courses from across Dartmouth. However, the progress tracker focuses on PBS requirements.
